Welcome to Keetl.com, a SaaS platform providing URL shortening tools, dynamic QR Code generation, and link redirection management, published and operated by OOWY SAS and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Paris region (France).

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern access to and use of the services available on the website Keetl.com (hereinafter the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms without reservation. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Publisher: OOWY SAS, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €75,000, registered with the Évry Trade and Companies Registry, with registered office at 6 Rond Point du Fresne, 91280 Saint-Pierre-du-Perray, France.
  • Service: All features, web applications, APIs, URL shortener tools, dynamic and static QR Code generation, customization, analytics, and redirection tools provided on Keetl.com.
  • User: Any individual or legal entity accessing, browsing, or using the Service, whether under a free or paid plan.
  • User Account: The personal, secured space created by a User to manage links, QR Codes, domains, and analytics.
  • Third-Party Content / Target Destination: Any webpage, content, digital asset, or online service to which a shortened link or QR Code generated via Keetl.com redirects.

2. Account Access and Management

2.1 Account Creation and Security

  • Certain features of the Service require creating a User Account. The User agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information upon registration.
  • The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials (email address, password, API keys, two-factor authentication [2FA] tokens). Any activity occurring under their account is presumed to be initiated by the User.
  • In the event of suspected loss, theft, or unauthorized use of credentials, the User must immediately notify Keetl at contact@keetl.com.

2.2 Plans and Subscriptions

Keetl offers both free tiers and paid subscription plans offering extended quotas and advanced features (custom domains, in-depth analytics, custom-branded QR Codes). Details, pricing, and billing terms for each plan are specified on the website. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled by the User prior to the renewal date.

3. Acceptable Use Policy and Prohibited Conduct

The User agrees to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.

It is strictly prohibited to use Keetl.com, directly or indirectly, to:

  • Create shortened links or QR Codes pointing to illegal, defamatory, hateful, violent, obscene, sexually explicit, abusive, or discriminatory content.
  • Engage in phishing, online scams, fraudulent schemes, identity theft, or distribution of malicious software (malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware).
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or unauthorized advertising campaigns.
  • Bypass security controls, reverse-engineer the platform, overload infrastructure, or disrupt Service operations.
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of third parties (copyright piracy, counterfeiting, illegal distribution).

4. Abuse Moderation, Suspension, and Termination

Keetl deploys automated inspection algorithms and proactive moderation systems to prevent abuse and protect web users from malicious redirects.

  • Immediate takedown right: OOWY SAS reserves the right to suspend, disable, or delete any shortened link, QR Code, or User Account immediately, without prior notice or compensation, in case of Terms violation or substantiated abuse reports.
  • Abuse Reporting: Any user or authority detecting a malicious link or QR Code generated via Keetl.com is invited to submit a report to contact@keetl.com specifying the offending link.
  • Users may terminate their account at any time from their account dashboard or by contacting customer support.

5. Technical Intermediary Status and Liability

5.1 Liability for Target Destinations

Keetl.com operates solely as a technical intermediary providing redirection and QR code generation tools. OOWY SAS exercises no editorial control over third-party destination websites. The User assumes full and sole liability for destinations associated with their links or QR Codes and agrees to indemnify and hold OOWY SAS harmless against any third-party claims.

5.2 Service Availability and Limitation of Liability

  • OOWY SAS strives to maintain high Service availability 24/7 subject to an obligation of best efforts (obligation de moyens). Access may be temporarily suspended for scheduled maintenance, technical upgrades, or force majeure events.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OOWY SAS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption.
  • For commercial users, OOWY SAS's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is strictly capped at the amounts paid by the User to OOWY SAS during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

5.3 Third-Party Retargeting Pixels and Tracking Technologies

Keetl.com allows Users to integrate retargeting pixels and conversion tags (Meta Pixel, Google Tag, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.) into their links, landing pages, or QR Codes. Any User integrating such tracking mechanisms:

  • guarantees that they have previously obtained valid and informed consent from the visitors concerned, in accordance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive;
  • assumes full responsibility for any claim, administrative sanction, or judicial ruling resulting from failure to comply with this obligation;
  • indemnifies and holds OOWY SAS harmless against any claim, action, or ruling issued by any authority or third party in this regard.

5.4 End of Subscription and Transition Policy

In the event of the expiry of a paid subscription, non-renewal, non-payment, or termination, Keetl applies the following transition policy:

  • 30-day grace period: For thirty (30) days following expiry, basic redirects remain active. Advanced analytics, custom domains, and premium features are suspended.
  • After 30 days: In the absence of regularisation, links and QR Codes may be deactivated and the account downgraded to the free plan within its corresponding quotas.
  • QR Codes on printed materials: The User is solely responsible for planning and monitoring their subscription, particularly when QR Codes are reproduced on long-life physical media. OOWY SAS strongly recommends maintaining an active subscription for any use on printed materials.
  • Data export: The User may export their data (links, statistics, settings) from their dashboard at any time during the active subscription period.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All components of Keetl.com (source code, algorithms, software, graphical interfaces, databases, logos, trademarks, and documentation) are the exclusive property of OOWY SAS or its licensors and are protected under intellectual property laws.
  • OOWY SAS grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
  • The User retains all ownership rights over trademarks, logos, and custom assets integrated into their custom QR Codes or landing pages.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data processing is carried out in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws. For comprehensive details regarding data collection, processing, and protection, please review our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance statement.

8. Amendments to these Terms

OOWY SAS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time to accommodate technical updates, new features, or legislative requirements. The date of last update will be refreshed accordingly. Continued use of the Service following modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
  • Waiver of right of withdrawal: Pursuant to Article L. 221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the consumer User expressly acknowledges and agrees, upon subscribing to a paid plan, that the Service begins immediately and that the digital content is fully delivered upon account activation. Accordingly, the User expressly waives their 14-day right of withdrawal, as confirmed by the checkbox presented at the time of payment.
  • Amicable settlement: In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms, the parties agree to first seek an amicable resolution by contacting customer support at contact@keetl.com.
  • Consumer mediation: If a dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days of a written complaint submitted to customer support, the consumer User may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator appointed by OOWY SAS:

  • Jurisdiction: Failing amicable settlement, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Paris, subject to mandatory statutory consumer rules.
